Background
[edit]Hadijah Nabulya Mwanje is a Ugandan Journalist and also the founding and Executive Director of HIgh Sound for Children, a child rights organization that amplifies voices of children through the media.She is also a founder member and former vice president, Human Rights Network for Journalists.
Education
[edit]Hadijah Mwanje studied at Jjinja Kalori girls for Primary and continued to Royal College Bbunga for High School. She later did a diploma in Journalism at the international institute of Business and Media studies. She also holds a degree in Social sciences from Kyambogo University. She attained several certificates in Human rights and media from the Foundation for Human Rights Initiative and Makerere University public school. She was also nominated for the Best Newsanchor Luganda category by the Media challenge initiative.
Work Experience
[edit]Hadijah Mwanje Started her Journalism career Kampala Afrikan Radio before joining Monitor publications where she served as a reporter and Newsanchor with both KFM and Dembe FM. She later rose to the level of editor before joining BBS Television as a News Manager. From there, she with a team of journalists founded High Sound for Children where she has served as executive Director since 2018.
